Art and About enrich peoples' lives by delivering high quality, vibrant and lively Arts workshops to a wide range of people within York, North Yorkshire.

We are community artists with a proven track record of working empathically and patiently with individuals and groups.

We work with a diverse range of people within the community with an emphasis on marginalised groups. These include older people, offenders and people who have disabilities and mental ill health.

We also work directly with children in schools, galleries and museums providing stimulating workshops in a fun environment.

As well as raising the local profile of the groups we work with, our participants increase their confidence, happiness and self esteem.

We make the process of hiring Art and About easier by assisting organisations with funding applications to run the workshops.
